Short description: The student after completing the course should acquire skills in BIM regarding to landscape architecture, including in particular: land configuration and land cover, garden furnishing and architecture, lightning and texturing, basic dimensioning and annotating of drawings, reports and tables, 3d visualizations, design composition and layout.
Full description: Introduction to the Vectorworks Landscape, BIM and user interface. Software environment characteristic. User settings, navigation and user tools. Work with files and objects inside the Vectorworks. Basics of modeling related to landscape architecture structures (shade structures, walls, terraces, benches, railings, stairs, etc.). Basic modifications of the 3d objects. Terrain modeling. Creating materials and textures. Lightning. Prepare layout with general and detailed plan drawings. Rendering setups for landscape exteriors in the build-in Renderworks.

Learning outcomes: Student knows and understands the three-dimensional space. By using various graphic techniques, methods and tools, student identifies the needs and guidelines for design works regarding to various industries related to landscape architecture objects.
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: grade obtained at classes (75%), timely delivery of assignments (25%).
